Differences and an Agreement

1 min read

It is so easy to focus on our differences these days. Everything has become so political and extreme. So easy to label people and just bucket them into THIS or THAT category. And don’t get me wrong, sometimes I fall into the trap of the algos, where they show me things that raises my blood pressure. But I try my best to remember that “United we stand, divided we fall”. We are never going to agree on everything. But that’s life; knowing that we are all different, should have different opinions, but still come together to live in a harmonious way.

One thing that gives me hope, is the possibility of all people in agreement on what we deem as money. For those who know me well, you already know my answer. And that is Bitcoin. Now, before you bucket me into THIS or THAT category let me say a few things. Money should not be political. People should be free to transact with their money when, where, and on what they want. Money is one half of every transaction. It is our time and energy in abstracted form as Jack Mallers often says. And I personally, do not want to work for a “money” that someone can print with the click of a few buttons.

I believe that Bitcoin is hope for humanity. A chance to put the world on a sound money standard. Even with all our differences, the one thing we SHOULD all agree on is what we the people want to use as money. So ask yourself. What is money?

“Fix the money, fix the world.”
